Batch delivery record: wind-power project plate
September is wind-season in the warehouse: the crane worked double shifts. Four batches of tower and monopile steel arrived under the same keywords — UT, Z grades, low-temperature impact. Delivery had to land inside the client's erection windows: early clogs the yard, late strands the crane crew.
What this batch demanded
Wind-power steel carries heavier inspection density than structural plate: tower-flange plate UT plate-by-plate to Class I, monopile sections with Z25/Z35 through-thickness properties, impact single values guaranteed at -20°C or -40°C. We file certificates and UT reports by heat number into a single bound register — the client checks the goods against one book, every heat accounted for.

Running to the erection calendar
Four batches, four erection windows. Each dispatch was confirmed against site progress 48 hours ahead, with loading order reversed from the erection sequence. Three batches are delivered; the fourth sits in final pre-dispatch inspection.
The same clause pattern — heavy UT, Z grades, single-value impact — is spreading to TBMs, port machinery and bridge anchorages. The habit of keeping the register pays off well beyond wind farms.
